General Weapons internal problems continued this week. Not only have they failed again to stop rebel progress, both War*Mart and McDeath have launched lawsuits against General Weapons for defaulting on large security contracts. General Weapons will lose it's triple-A corporate contract rating if the deal is not rescued by the end of the month. To make matters worse, security contract negotiations have been postponed by corporate counties Exxhaust and Nuke pending the outcome of the Rebel conflict. Neigbouring corporate county Guns'r'us has offered to send additional forces to aid the flagging General Weapons. General Weapons refused however, stating that such actions would be "grossly premature" maintaining their stance that the Rebel uprising is still a minor problem and that the suggestion was intended as an insult. To make good on their claims, General Weapons has sent extensive backup troops to the northern outposts.
